Roller garage doors
Roller doors are perfect for those wanting to maximise their brick to brick drive through width as they fit on tracks on the back of the brickwork aperture they don’t require a separate frame so you will gain for full drive through width. Roller doors normally fit behind the brickwork (although some insulated doors can be fitted within the opening, although bear in mind you will lose some headroom for the roll if you do this). They rise vertically and up into a roll above the lintel on the inside for the garage roof space.
All roller doors are made to measure so you will need to provide us with your exact brick to brick opening sizes in millimetres to order the correct size door. You will require about 90mm on each side of the back of the aperture for the tracking to sit.
Steeline Roller Doors (non insulated)
Cardale Steeline rollers are made of steel and feature a horizontal ribbed design which is both attractive and very strong and secure. They are coated in a plastisol or woodgrain laminate finish to ensure the colour lasts and they remain maintenance free. You will need 433mm above the lintel for the roll for a Steeline door. These doors can be manual or remote controlled.
Thermaglide/Novorol Doors (Insulated)
Insulated doors are made from strong individual foam filled slats. This gives them their noise and insulation properties. They are finished in maintenance free, powder coated or woodgrain laminate finish. They typically require 320mm of headroom above the lintel or 205mm for a Thermaglide 55. There is an option to have a roll box on these doors (the Thermaglide 55 comes with a box as standard). For more information you can visit our Technical Help page or call us on 0800 404 8011.
